I changed my password and now I can't print

If you've recently changed your password,
Campus printing for you is going to break immediately after the change. 
Here's how to prevent your account from being locked out and allow your ability to continue printing:

On PC:

  1.  Sign out of all campus resources connected to your old password:
    1. Including: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Adobe Creative Cloud, Campus Wireless, and whatever apps you use for email and calendaring. 
    2. Open File Explorer 
      1. Navigate to Network
      2. Right click on any university mapped network drives and select Disconnect
    3. Open the Windows Search
      1. type Credential (first result should be Microsoft's Credential Manager
      2. Select the Windows Credentials tab (should be toward the top of the window)
        1. Find and delete any credentials stored for uniflow, redprint, or uprintanywhere
        2. May not hurt to clear any stored campus passwords previous to the password change
          while you're in there. 
  2. Restart your computer. 
    1. This is necessary for some cached passwords to fully clear. We get that people don't like
      to restart their machines. 
  3. Reconnect to the wireless by going to onboard.utah.edu while connected to Uguest. 
  4. Resign into all applications using your campus credentials:
    1. Adobe Creative Cloud uses your personal unid@utah.edu
    2. Microsoft Products or Services (this includes email and calendars) 
      uses your personal unid@umail.utah.edu
  5. Press + R to open a run dialog.
    1. type //uniflowrps1.ad.utah.edu into the run dialog
    2. use unid@ad.utah.edu and campus password for the popup window that asks you to connect
    3. click the Remember my credentials box (otherwise, the next time you go to print, you'll have to type it in again. 
  6. Try and print something (verify it's working). 

    On Mac:

Sign out of all campus resources connected to your old password:

  1. Including: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Adobe Creative Cloud, Campus Wireless, and whatever apps you use for email and calendaring.
  2. Open the Spotlight (magnifying glass icon, top right of yourscreen)
    1. Search for Keychain
      1. this should open your Keychain Access application. 
      2. Search for uprint/redprint/uniflow for saved passwords. 
      3. Delete the printer specific ones. 
  3. Reconnect to the wireless by going to onboard.utah.edu while connected to Uguest.
  4. Resign into all applications using your campus credentials:
    1. Adobe Creative Cloud uses your personal unid@utah.edu
    2. Microsoft Products or Services (this includes email and calendars)
      uses your personal unid@umail.utah.edu
  5. Attempt to print. 
    1. Print job should pause. 
    2. click the tiny circle icon to resume
    3. Input your unid as the user name and your campus password. 
    4. Remember my password in my keychain box is selected.
    5. Verify the print job showed up at the printer as expected.
